Terms of Use

Last updated: March 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of Logic Commander ("the App"), developed and distributed by Will Chatham and Gray Chatham under the Intergalactic Robots brand ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

License

When you purchase Logic Commander, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on your own Mac computers. A single license is for one person - not for resale, redistribution, or sharing with others.

What You May Not Do

No Warranty

Logic Commander is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. I make no guarantees that the App will work perfectly, be error-free, or perform any specific function in your environment. Speech recognition accuracy depends on Apple's Speech framework and your hardware - results will vary.

Limitation of Liability

I am not responsible for any data loss, damage to projects, missed recordings, or other losses arising from the use of Logic Commander. This includes but is not limited to: accidental transport commands, missed or misheard commands, software conflicts, or any interaction between the App and Logic Pro or your system.

You should always maintain backups of your projects. Use the App at your own risk.

Free Trial

The App includes a 7-day free trial with full functionality. After the trial period, a license purchase is required to continue using the App. Trial terms are subject to change in future versions.

Updates

A license purchase includes all future updates to Logic Commander at no additional cost. I reserve the right to change features, pricing for new customers, or these terms at any time. Existing license holders are not affected by price changes.

Privacy

Logic Commander does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data or audio. All speech recognition runs entirely on your Mac using Apple's built-in Speech framework. The only network request the App makes is to verify your license key with Gumroad's API. No audio ever leaves your computer.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
